Arctic Community Energy Planning & Implementation Toolkit

The Arctic Community Energy Planning & Implementation (ACEPI) Toolkit is a hands-on guide to assist Arctic communities in developing their own community energy plans and projects. These kinds of plans and projects have the potential to provide various economic, environmental, social, and cultural benefits to communities, in addition to reducing energy consumption. The ACEPI Toolkit includes resource guides, case studies, templates, worksheets, and strategies from communities across the Arctic. It also includes activity guides for energy education and community energy capacity-building.

The ACEPI Toolkit project was lead by Gwitch’in Council International, with production, research and writing lead by Lumos Clean Energy Advisors. The project was completed and endorsed by the Arctic Council in May 2019.
